Reducing Eye Strain While Crafting

It's always a good idea to remove yourself from your crafting at least once an hour in order to avoid eye strain. Below are a few things you can do. This also works if you're working on the computer for extended periods of time.

1. Walk to the kitchen and drink a glass of water.

2. Take a walk around the yard and breathe in the fresh air.

3. Look out the window. The most picturesque view is best so you can focus on many different areas around the yard.

4. Call your spouse, kids, parents or a friend just to say hi.

5. Do a few quick stretches. You also get very stiff sitting in one position for very long.

6. Focus on something across the room.

7. Collect your materials to use for the next hour.
