On your next adventure at your local thrift shop, be on the lookout  for tiny treasures that you can turn into adorable pincushions.  Perfect for gift-giving on Mother's Day, birthdays, Christmas, Valentine's Day or whenever you want to tell someone special that you love them.  This is a quick and easy (and inexpensive!) project that you can finish up in just a couple of hours, but be careful . . . . making these pincushions can become addictive!  Use up your fabric scraps, and left-over buttons, beads, ribbons, and little bits of lace.  All you need is a little container such as a teacup, a small glass dish, a ceramic basket, a tiny box - anything you can find - and then use your imagination.  A hot glue gun is helpful, but not necessary.  This is also a GREAT project for children or youth groups such as church groups, 4-H groups, or scouting groups.  Quick, easy, inexpensive . . . . . the perfect craft project!
