Yo-yos are a wonderful way to use up scrap fabric and it can become quite addictive. Once the circles are cut out of the fabric, you can create yo-yos while watching your favorite TV show, idle moments while on vacation, or while waiting in the doctor’s office. This tutorial will walk you through creating a doily for your table or an arm cover for a chair or sofa. However, you can garnish yo-yos with beads, buttons, ribbons, etc. to use as embellishments for totes, clothing, quilts and more. You can also make MORE yo-yos and create placemats, table runners, or even yo-yo quilts! You’re only limited by your imagination.
