This pirate was made to look like Captain Jack Slader from the pirates of the Carribean. 

To make this pirate you will need a box spring with a top no larger then 1 1/2" in diameter, but the bottom size is not so critical and can be anywhere from 3 1/2" to almost 6".  If you can't find a suitable box spring then you can order one from my website. 

You will also need a sword charm, a lock and key charm, some small beads with wide holes, white cotton fabric scrap, muslin scraps, dark red cotton scrap, brown wool felt, curly crepe dark brown wool doll hair, polyfill stuffing, You will also need paint pencils in green, white, black, and a mouth color.  I had to settle for burgundy because I could not find any other color for the mouth that I liked.
